Over 80 years old, JCI Glasgow is the oldest active local organisation in Scotland with a rich history and forged strong ties in the local community. JCI Glasgow hosted the JCI World Congress 1995 welcoming thousands of JCI members to the city from all across the world.
JCI Glasgow provides great training opportunities for its members. It hosts regular midweek events covering a range of different professional and personal development topics led by different trainers.
Based in Scotland’s capital city, JCI Edinburgh is highly regarded for its Charlotte Square Club. This bimonthly public speaking and debating training programme has helped many novice public speakers development into award winning speakers and debaters at world level.
JCI Edinburgh is also a member of the JCI European Multi-Twinning (EMT) group, an international partnership between other local organisations in countries including France, Iceland, Germany, Ireland and Finland. The underlying idea of the EMT is to strengthen the understanding between European people and to promote European integration. JCI Edinburgh hosted the 2016 EMT conference with over 80 international delegates
JCI Aberdeen is best known for its flagship event the Grampian Industrialist of the Year Awards. Many prominent figures in the Aberdeen business scene have come through the JCI Aberdeen network.
JCI Aberdeen members have a history of running award winning international projects over the years such as Beds to Ghana – shipping old NHS Grampian beds to a Ghanaian children’s hospital.
A new local organisation in Scotland, JCI Fife works closely with the Fife Chamber of Commerce to hold monthly networking and business events around the region. JCI Fife is a great way to link up with other young professionals in your local area and gain leadership experience.
